In this policy, we, TV4 AB, explain how we process your personal data in connection with you, as a contact person/representative for someone who wants to advertise on one of TV4's channels, coming into contact with us. We always process your personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable regulations.
It is important to us that you feel safe when you provide us with your personal information. We therefore encourage you to read the policy carefully to learn more about our processing.
Data Controller
TV4 AB (corporation no. 556242-7152) is the data controller for the processing carried out by us or on our behalf. This means that we are responsible for the personal data we have about you and how we process it. What personal data do we process about you?
Personal data is all information that can be linked to you as a person.
The information we process about you is: your name, the company/organization you represent, your role in such company/organization, your contact details and information about which products/services you have purchased from us and how you use such products/services.
For what purposes do we process your data?
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we use your information to send you newsletters and other marketing. The content of the marketing is tailored to be relevant to you, provided that you have approved this via your cookie settings, you can change these here.
If the company/organization you represent is a customer of ours, we process your data for the purpose of:
- Provide our products/services and enable you to book these online
- Administer our customer relationship with the company/organization you represent by communicating with you
- To market our own and our group companies' products and services (you can opt out of receiving such marketing via a link in each mailing)
- The content of the marketing is adapted to be relevant to you, provided that you have approved this via your cookie settings, you can change these here.
- Produce statistics on how our products/services are used
- Maintain, test, improve and develop our products/services
- Fulfill our legal obligations and safeguard any legal claims
When is your data deleted?
We will save your information as long as you are a registered representative/contact person for the company/organization you represent and up to one year thereafter.

On what legal basis do we process your personal data?
We carry out our processing because we have a legitimate interest in processing them. This interest consists of being able to administer and provide our products/services to the company/organization you represent.
You consent to the collection of data via cookies via your cookie settings. There you can easily change the settings if you do not want us to collect any information about how you have interacted with our website (information that is in turn used, for example, to market relevant offers to you and the company/organization you represent.
Who can access your personal data?
In connection with the processing of information about you and the company/organization you represent, we provide your information to companies that provide services to us (e.g. IT services). We also provide your personal data to, for example, authorities, if required by law, other statutes or authority decisions.
If the data is transferred to a country outside the EU, which can happen if the data is stored in a cloud service, for example, a legal basis has been secured, for example through agreements containing the standard model clauses for data transfer adopted by the European Commission and which are available on the European Commission's website.
Your rights under the law
You have the following rights in connection with our processing of your personal data:
- Right of access (register extract), i.e. a right to receive confirmation and information about what personal data we process about you
- Right to rectification, i.e. a right to have incorrect information corrected
- Right to erasure, i.e. a right to have data deleted
- Right to restricted processing, i.e. a right to demand that our processing be restricted, for example if you object to the accuracy of the data
- Right to data portability, i.e. a right to request that your data be moved from us to another company
- Right to object to the processing of personal data
- Right to withdraw your consent, however, withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn
- Right to file a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority if you believe that we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law
